Runes

A second way to see any Squiggle piece: its code drawn as a circle in Squiggle's own alphabet. Every line is a glyph, every block an inner circle, numbers are tick marks. Read the circle and you can tell what the code does, and where it's broken, without reading the code.

Idea from the community: “how would code look if it was translated into those geometric runes, and would it show if something is wrong?”

Find the broken rune

One rune in today's circle is broken. Tap it. A new circle every day at 00:00 UTC, made from a starter with one real error in it.

The alphabet

Squiggle's own: every glyph was drawn for it. Lines run clockwise from the top, where the outer ring is open; top-level lines sit on the outer ring and a block's lines on the circle inside it. The rim has a notch for every ten characters.
